Crochet Wire with Beads

And welcome back to allfreecrochet.com. For more information and free patterns please check out allfreecrochet.com. This is a part of the series of crocheting with wire and making jewelry. So now what we’re gonna do is that we’re gonna actually put beads on to the actual chain work that we’re working on. So what I want you to do is that we are working on a pattern together. We’re gonna do a bracelet in the final tutorial. But what I wanna do is show you how to actually do bead work. So what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna put nine beads onto my work and basically I have a conglomerate I know it might be hard to see these all these silver but I have a conglomerate of different beads all working together. And I want different sizes because when you see different sizes in bracelets it actually makes it really chunky and a lot of fun. So what I’m gonna just do is that I’m gonna put on nine only. So 1, 2, so I’m just choosing at random, 3, uhhh, I’m just choosing different shapes. So I’m not being really that meticulous about it. This is number 5, so number 6, 7 uh, 7 yeah, I’ll do this one 7, 8, and we’ll do 9. Okay, so there is my choices of beads on there. So again we just wanna do like we did with regular is that we wanna leave about of two to four inch tail on it, okay just wrapping it around your finger and just take the back or the forward so we’re just doing slipknot like I just showed you in the last tutorial. And just bend it over and now insert your hook just like so and now pull and now pull on the wire that has the beads on it. So you’re pulling it nice and tight and now what I want you to do is let’s chain up three. So I’m pulling back this wire out of the way, and so let’s chain of three. So 1, 2 and now it’s gonna get really interesting because now you have your beads on they’re actually gonna be pulling on to the actual wire. So we got three done and so now let’s slide up one right next to the hook and so we’ll grab the wire on the other side of the bead and go 1, 2. Okay, slide the next one. On the other side of the bead 1 and 2. The other side, 1 and 2 and so you’ll see that the bigger ones have a little more of a gap and the small ones are just nice and tight in and again, that’s all just part of artistic creativity when it comes to working on these. So just 1 and 2. So around 1 and 2. 1 and 2, 1 and 2, 1 and 2 and finally the very last one coming down the pipeline there and so we’re gonna have, so the last one I’m gonna go 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the reason why I did that you remember how we started off one, two, three and then we put on one? When I did that I’m ending up with the same number on the other side. So just taking my clippers now and just going over to where my hand is so I have the distance pull out, pull, like that and pull like that. So I’m not gonna stretch this at this point. I’m just gonna leave it as is and I’m gonna put it down and I’m gonna make more in order to make a bracelet. So that’s how you crochet with wire using beads. On behalf of allfreecrochet.com.
