Double Matte Effect – Part 3 – How to Apply a Rhinestone Bow

Hi, I’m Kirsty Meakin from Naio Nails. In
this video I’m going to show you how to apply a 3D alloy rhinestone bow. What I’m going
to do now is going to add another little bow to this one Not as big as this one, but it’s
going to go on here. It’s going to be a little easy, simple bow. So if any of you want to
do something that’s very simple, very quick, this is the bow for you. Tiny little bead. What we’re going to do is go in and open it out Keep it in that teardrop shape. Same
again here. Tiny bead in the middle to join the two together, and then we’re going to
use a little bit of the paler colour, which is Purple Grape. You don’t have to highlight
this. You can leave it like it was. I’m just going to add a tiny bit like that. It’s not
hard to do. Something simple you can do. With the Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution, I’m going
to clean it over. That’ll just get rid of any of the shimmer particles that are still sat on the nail that shouldn’t be there. Then the last thing we’re going to do is put on
a couple of pieces of the Nail Jewellery Embellishments, which are the little bows. Really easy to
wear, these are. They’re not big. As long as you put them on securely, you’ll be fine. You’ve got some clear acrylic, so we’re going to go on with the clear acrylic A little bead. Put the bead on so that it’s just slightly shorter than the bow, and press it into the
bead. Take off any excess that squishes out, and then that’s secured on. And then the last
one’s going to go here. So again, bead of acrylic press that in, and take off any excess
that squishes out. Tidy that up nice. That’s it, and you’re good to go. We’re going to
put some oil on these now, just to finish them off. So there’s lots of different styles
of bows there. Some easy, some intermediate, and then there’s one that’s a little bit more
difficult. And you’ve got that matte effect with the design as well. Loads of things going
on. Then obviously, the gel polish as well.
