EASIEST 3D ACRYLIC FLOWER EVER!

Hi everybody, I’m Kirsty Meakin from Naio Nails. In this video, I’m gonna show you how to do a simple 3D flower but inside the flower, we are going to use some embellishments. New embellishments just for you. So, I’ve got my nail tip here and the colours I’m gonna use is, I’m gonna do a coat of this one first and then I’m gonna use this holographic gold, which I just added to complete different dimensions to the nail. Now, these are from the glitter collections, so I’m gonna do just one coat of each. Now I’m gonna use the holographic. I mean, that’s gorgeous on its own, but we’re gonna add a little bit more pizzazz to this nail. It’ll change that colour slightly as well. i think the two together look pretty amazing! Gonna pop that into the lamp and cure that now. Before I do my 3D, I do need to seal the gel polish with the Urban Graffiti topcoat. It is best to use the Urban Graffiti topcoat over the Urban Graffiti gel polish because it is flexible. We’re gonna be using Mega White. I’m gonna be using high-speed liquid. Why am I using high-speed liquid? Adam: Because you’re so fast. Kirsty: Because I’m doing 3D. Adam: Alright! Kirsty: and it set up a little bit quicker. Somebody said to me the other day. They said “I’ve heard that applying, not applying… that adding Acetone to your Monomer will make it settle quicker”, that is correct. However, it makes the acrylic more brittle. Gonna bleed each bead out, place it on, let it start to polymerize, so you can see that sort of settling and then we’re gonna bring this into like a teardrop shape. When it starts to go more of a finish, that’s when you can press into it. Alright! So, I’ve done the flower. Gonna do the other bit now. Alright! So, what I’m gonna do now is use some embellishments and I’ll be using these little gorgeous little circles and also out of this wheel, we’re gonna be using these gorgeous gold. Well, this is like a pearl or stud. I’m gonna put white acrylic in the middle, quite thin and wet. Then, you’re gonna place that directly onto the acrylic. Dampen your brush so it keeps the acrylic nice and wet. Now you’re gonna pick up the stud, press that in the middle of the circle. It fits perfectly. Hold it down and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and squeeze. Adam: prefect fit isnt it.
Kirsty: It’s a perfect fit! You can sweep down with your brush and make sure you’ve got… you know, because sometimes it might squish out the side and if it does, you can just sweep round. Just make sure you get rid of any of that. And that is a super easy way to sort of jazz up quite a simple flower that’s got simple shapes. But adding something like that in the middle really makes it that little bit more special and we all like something that’s a bit special. I think you would agree that this colour gold matches these two gel polishes. Absolutely, gorgeously, it matches perfectly. Because there are many different kinds of gold, different shades and I think that really just match beautifully. Have a go, say what you think, comment below. I want to know how you get on. Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook and Instagram and everything that I’ve used today will be listed below as I always do. I don’t really, Adam does that but we can pretend that I did it and I can take the credit. Adam: I don’t even do it anymore. Kirsty: We have people that help us out because we can’t do everything. I’ll see you in the next video. Bye bye! Sure and we all like something that’s a bit special like Adam. Awww! Well, Fay thinks you’re very special.
