January 17, 2011 Reply Brittany Bowman Do you have to use the glue, or is the knot secure enough alone? Great Video! March 11, 2011 Reply Beadaholique @bbrittany Thank you for your question, and the compliment 🙂 We highly recommend using glue when knotting any sort of stretch cord. Most stretch cords are smooth and slippery, therefore it is possible for even the best knots to come undone. The glue is just a little added security! March 14, 2011 Reply Skylar chan @Beadaholique Can i use hot glue gun to secure the knot? or the rubber string will melt up? December 1, 2011 Reply daisy77497 What length stretch cord would I use for one size fits most ? Thanks May 5, 2012 Reply Beadaholique After all your beads have been strung onto the stretch cord, try to tie the ends so that the inner circumference of the bracelet is around 7 inches so that it will fit most wrists comfortably. Since it is a stretch bracelet, you do not need to be exact. May 9, 2012 Reply vleermuisje WELCOME Andrea greetings from the netherlands! July 18, 2012 Reply nemoryer Could you do a video on how to make a stretch 3- or 4-row stretch bracelet using only 1 spacer bar? I like the effect of the rest of the rows separating and connected with just 1 spacer bar. I have seen this in different size pearls and very very beautiful. If you can, please write me to let me know the link (?) Thanks. January 3, 2013 Reply Beadaholique Thank you for the video suggestion, I will add it to our request list 🙂 January 17, 2013 Reply Hypnotic Designs_38018 I LOVE this video. Very detailed. The last bracelet was extremely well put together. U have a new sub. Thanks Hun! 🙂 April 25, 2013 Reply Beadaholique You can use a pair of scissors to cut the elastic. The flush cutters were able to get really close up to the knot but a small sharp scissor will also work. June 20, 2013 Reply Krystina Ruth Can you only use the glue you used in the video? Will E-6000 work? June 21, 2013 Reply Beadaholique The advantage of the glue used in the video is the very fine applicator tip. As a glue, E6000 would work, but it will be a challenge getting it really into the knot and it might not be as effective because of this. June 24, 2013 Reply Nithya Kalyani Stretch magic or opelon which is better and can i use the same glue(gs hypo cement) for both stretch magic and opelon? and also can i use 1 mm cord for beads with 1 mm holes or should i use 0.7 mm cord? I would also like to know if i can use the same technique for any stretch cord and beads and cords of any sizes February 6, 2014 Reply ebony beale Do i need double holed beads to make the double strand bracelet like in your video? And do i use two pieces of stretch cord? April 10, 2014 Reply Imani Welch Can you do a tutorial on how to make the double or triple stranded bracelets? That would be great. July 31, 2014 Reply Beadaholique @Imani Welch Thank you for the video request. We will add it to our requests board. July 31, 2014 Reply Beadaholique @Leona Rose – The length of time they last really depends on the amount of wear. With normal wear and secure knots, they should last a long time. Be careful with semi-precious stones as they sometimes have roughly drilled holes that can cut the stretch cord and if they are really heavy, that could affect the longevity of the cord as well. September 8, 2014 Reply Crafty Crafter’s Place would you recommend using 1mm as long as the bead holes are large enough? I find 1mm holds its shape nicely but it also doesnt have as much stretch as a .7mm. October 16, 2014 Reply jane a sinner I thought you were supposed to stretch the cord a little before you string it? April 2, 2015 Reply Nia Perry I really like your brand name- Very original!
