April 17, 2012 Reply Beadaholique Hi, if you did not want to use the bejeweller pro, you will need a glue specifically made for fabric. I would suggest going to the place where you are purchasing your veil material and asking them what glue to use. The rhinestone size is really a personal preference as to how large you want them. A ss16 size which is approximately 4mm would be a god place to start looking. May 9, 2012 Reply Ella’s Lifetime Can u do this to faux suede shoes? I love watching your videos by the way December 1, 2012 Reply Beadaholique Yes, you could use this technique and product on faux suede shoes. Just a word of caution though, shoes endure a lot of wear and tear, much more so then other articles of clothing or jewelry. I have never tried this technique on shoes but I am going to guess that the rhinestones will eventually wear off – especially if you wear the shoes out in the rain and such. December 3, 2012 Reply Ella’s Lifetime THANKYOU SO MUCH 🙂 December 3, 2012 Reply Beadaholique You can bejewel them but I am not sure if you want to. When bejeweling shoes of any form, over time, the rhinestones will probably come off due to wear (shoes see a lot of stress). Also, I am not sure if Uggs have a weatherproof coating that might affect how the rhinestones adhere. If you do want to do this, do just 1 to begin with in a very obscure spot and wear the boots for a bit just to make sure it stays on. June 2, 2013 Reply viewer9 thanks for the tutorial, i got this too a week ago, is it possible to use swarovski in 5ss or 7ss because i see it in the box the picture of swarovski their size are : 6ss, 8ss, 10,, 16ss so i think maybe it not work in 5ss ir 7ss? thanks June 4, 2013 Reply Courtney Dillon I have one of these guns, can you use it on the front of converse? August 20, 2013 Reply Beadaholique Putting any type of glued embellishment on shoes runs the risk of them falling off because shoes get so much wear. You can use this tool to apply them to shoes, but I am going to guess that after a certain amount of wear, they will come off. August 21, 2013 Reply Beadaholique I have only used it with the recommended sizes from the manufacturer. You can always experiment but if the box specifically lists the sizes to work with, I would try and stick with those. August 21, 2013 Reply Beadaholique Yes, it should work on satin and silk flowers but keep in mind if those surfaces have been coated in any way, it might affect the adhesion. January 12, 2014 Reply Kate Holton Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I was just wondering – is there an instruction book or craft book that goes into more depth (like your tutorial) on how to use the Bejeweler Pro? – I bought this for my mother some time ago and she does not have internet access and feels that the instructions that came with the tool are too vague. If you could let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it. July 23, 2014 Reply ursula walsh Hi I have a question Why my crystals are not staying in the tips.??????
